Credits are an essential part of the Stepsailor platform, enabling users to access a range of AI-driven features. By monitoring your credit usage, you can better manage your budget and make the most of the services available to you. In the credits dashboard, users can view all credits consumed based on their selected tier level and purchased packages.

• Transcribing videos

• Generating documentation

• Analyzing and structuring knowledge

• Crawling Data

• Assistant Conversations

The usage of credits establishes a usage-based pricing model, meaning that every interaction that involves AI capabilities, including chat messages, contributes to credit consumption.

Types of Credits

Stepsailor provides two distinct types of credits:

1. Budget Credits:

   • Allocated monthly and automatically replenished.

   • Prioritized for usage; these credits are consumed first to ensure fairness among users.

2. Package Credits:

   • Purchased through specific credit packages.

   • Do not refresh monthly and remain available until fully consumed.

   • Serve as a backup once budget credits are depleted, allowing users to maintain access to AI services without interruptions.

How to Refill Your Credits

To ensure you have sufficient credits for your AI tasks, follow these steps to refill them:

1. Navigate to the Settings tab in your account.

2. Click on Billing.

3. Choose a tier to either upgrade your budget credits or purchase additional credits.
